Debate on Battered woman syndrome (BWS)

The battered woman defense is a defense used in court that the person accused of an assault/murder was suffering from battered person syndrome at the material time. Because the defense is most commonly used by women, it is usually characterised in court as battered woman syndrome or battered wife syndrome. There is currently no medical classification for this specific syndrome in the sense used by lawyers, though it has historically been invoked in court systems. Similar to an insanity plea, battered person syndrome is purely a legal term used to refer to the severe psychological trauma caused by domestic abuse. Playing game Snakes and Ladders

Chances are you’ve played Snakes and Ladders. Rebranded in 1943 by Milton Bradley as Chutes and Ladders, most of us have sat with a version of it at some point in our young lives, but its origins involve much more than just child’s play. The game is a potent teaching tool whose simple design has been used for centuries, arguably even millennia, as a way to embody and reinforce religious teachings and cultural values. Along the way it’s evolved and adapted to incorporate the themes and aesthetics relevant to each culture that played it, from ancient India to Victorian England, to the US and far beyond.
Understand the object of the game. ...Decide who goes first. ...Roll the dice and move. ...Climb up ladders. ...Slide down snakes or chutes. ...Take an extra turn if you roll a six. ...Land exactly on the last square to win.Winner : Rajeev Jain

However, innately, there also exists an even more wonderful and miraculous potential, the existence of which is hidden from most of us. As we begin to activate this inner energy source we can utilise these dormant powers for our own well-being and for the blessing of the whole world.
